This vintage patch was created for the 63rd International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) held in Mende, France in 1988. This commemorative patch has a white background and features the U.S. flag embroidered in red, white and blue. A motorcyclist is in black on top of an image of France in light blue. ISDE and USA are embroidered in blue. Support Team is embroidered in black. These patches were originally produced and sold to help fund the U.S. team.

In 1907, when most of the world still relied on real horsepower, Glenn Curtiss, pioneer aviator, stuffed a V-8 of his own design into a specially made seven foot long motorcycle frame and blasted down Ormond Beach, Fla., at 136 miles per hour to become the fastest man alive. This commemorative belt buckle was part of the AMA Great Destinations collection and celebrated the 90th anniversary of Glenn’s accomplishment.
